Musician Lynn McFadyen

Lynn McFadyen was born and raised in the Phillips, Wisconsin area. She received classical piano lessons at age 5. During her college years, she moved to Eau Claire to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree. She is currently a retired music educator, having taught music at the School District of Mondovi for 33 years. Lynn is active in the Eau Claire area as an accompanist, vocalist, and a church musician. She is a member of the Master Singers, a choral ensemble made up of semi-professional vocalists from throughout the Chippewa Valley. There she met Pastor David, who is also a Master Singer's member, and the rest is history. Her role in worship at Plymouth UCC began.

Lynn is married to her husband, Bob. They have two daughters, a son-in-law and one beautiful granddaughter. Lynn's interests and hobbies mostly center on her musical endeavors. Besides the piano, Lynn plays organ, guitar, and yes, the accordion! Lynn enjoys live theater, knitting, and fishing. Family time and plain old-fashioned visiting is also high on her list of enjoyable things to do.

Lynn has a passion for sharing music within the church/christian setting. She believes music touches our souls and can help to make the word of God come alive. This is the spiritual connection that she strives to provide each Sunday, as she shares her music with the people of Plymouth UCC.
